Masculine Birthday Card

Hello Everyone,

I have been away from my blog for a while but I am back for good now! Today I want to share a masculine birthday card that I made using the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge. I decided to do something with this cart since I have had it for a while and hadn't used it. I am also linking this card to this week's Birthday Sundaes Challenge. Take a look below!

I am very pleased with the way this little card came out. I used glossy accent on the car to make it look well... GLOSSY like a real car :) I also used some silver Pearl Paint on the rims and door handle of the car. The route sign was cut out from the same cartridge but the #27 is from an American Crafts stamp set. Hope you enjoyed my project.

Until Next Time,
Kara

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #18 - Anything Goes

Hello Again Friends,

Today I made a birthday card and decided to enter it in the Birthday Sundaes challenge. I used a stamp from The Rubber Cafe named Carousel Horse which I got a while back and have been wanting to put to use. Here is the card:

I used Cricut's Gypsy Wonderings for the card frame and welded a circle in the middle. I also inked the circle edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink. I embossed the card frame using an Inkadinkado background stamp and Stampendous Jeweled Gold embossing powder. The background paper I used is from K&Co.

I used lace which I tucked underneath the card frame and a Tim Holtz trinket pin which I am totally obsessed with right now :) I also added some cute Mulberry flowers from Recollections. I hope you all enjoyed my card.

Until Next Time,
Kara

Butterfly Frame

Hi Friends!

Take a look at this cute little butterfly frame that I made for a friend to put a picture of her daughter.

I used a wood frame w/glass that I bought at Michaels and painted it with Delta Creative Royal Fuchsia acrylic paint. Then I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and punched out random pattern paper from my scraps. I glued them to the frame using Mod Podge (the glossy one). Once I glued all the butterflies I coated the  entire frame with Mod Podge and let it sit to dry.

I used Cricut Gypsy font for the name and cut it out 6 times using Bazzill Basics Dotted Swiss paper . I then pasted the names on top of each other to give it dimension and used a hot glue gun to glue it to the frame. The butterfly was also punched 6 times, bended and glued on top of each other. I actually had to use Krazy Glue for the butterfly because it did not stay with the hot glue. To put a finishing touch I used my I-Rock to add some bling!!!

Hope You Enjoyed!

Kara

Thank You - MakeUp Card

Hello Friends,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! The weather here in Miami has been really gloomy and rainy so I have had time to catch up on sleep and crafting :). The card I will be showing you today is a Thank You card that I made for a co-worker to go along with a Mac Cosmetics gift card. I used the Paula's Boutique SVG set from Svg Cuts and used hot pink and cheetah print paper since those are her favorites. I also used some silver foil paper on the compact to make it look like an actual mirror :)

Thanks for stopping by!!
